The incumbent will be mainly responsible of providing stuctured social counseling and follow-up for the beneficiaries attending the center.
Tasks:
Introducing the services to all refugees approaching the center for the 1st time in order to manage their expectations.
Conducting exploration interviews to assess the overall psycho-social and physical conditions of each new beneficiary
Identifying vulnerable cases (Torture, SGBV, LGBT, women alone…) and providing them with structured social intervention.
Claiming for and/or attending coordination meetings with the different specialists of the center to discuss specific cases.
Coordinating with the secretary to set appointments for each beneficiary according to the referral done by the head of the rehabilitation unit.
Checking regularly if beneficiaries are attending the center based on the appointments set for them.
Conducting home visits based on the needs.
Providing the beneficiary’s family with information regarding his progress and treatment obtains.
Attending and participating actively in regular meetings, seminars and trainings as indicated by the program coordinator or Restart director.
Offering information and counseling support to beneficiaries and their families;
Drafting detailed reports for vulnerable cases describing their psychological conditions and the services provided for them by the center to address their psychological disorders.
Liaising with, and making referrals to, other agencies;
Participating in multidisciplinary teams and meetings as indicated by the program coordinator or Restart director.
Participating in the administrative preparations of the meetings and trainings organized by Restart.
Participating in team meetings and case studies
Undergoing individual supervision when needed
