Recycle Beirut is a social business offering recycling services to households, businesses, and organizations and employing vulnerable populations to do the work.
Job Description
The outreach specialist will educate and inform individuals, organizations, businesses, and communities about the benefits of recycling. Duties will include but are not limited to:
-Canvassing neighborhoods to sign up businesses and households for recycling
-Meeting with organizations, businesses, and NGOs to introduce them to recycling
-Coordinating with the drivers and workers
-Conducting trainings
-Attending weekly volunteer meetings
-Completing daily reports
-Other work as assigned
The work of this position is entirely in the field, and hours will vary. Flexibility is a must as night and weekend work will be required.
Qualifications
University graduate
Fluent in Arabic and English
At least one year experience in community mobilization or outreach
