SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Reporting to Proud Lebanon’s boards, the Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist will be responsible for the measurement, monitoring and evaluation of all projects undertaken between August 2017 and February 2018. He or she will ensure that there is consistency in the objectives and success indicators of programs and will spearhead the development and timely delivery of relevant reports against outcomes.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES                               
 A.    Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation
1-    Participate in Proud’s Strategic planning
2-    Collect preliminary data on project’s stakeholders, services provided and projects implemented
3-    Monitor the achievement of trainings/workshops and awareness sessions in the selected areas, and ensure timely reporting to the program manager coordinator
4-    Assist the management in negotiating any changes to the project monitoring plan, or indicators
5-    Monitor and follow up progress on various meetings, reports, working papers etc.
6-    Monitor and support all activities implemented in the project
7-    Collect data from all project’s activities including trainings, services and other activities and maintain the data in an Excel database, and generating reports to contribute to the project periodic reports
8-    Support staff on ways to properly documents, organize and capture program progress.
9-    Draft tools and their revisions as well as data collection procedures under the supervision of the management (e.g logical framework, project performance tracking, indicators, data flow chart)
10- Support and participate in program and project evaluations
11- Organize and conduct mid-term and post-project evaluations in the target areas.
12- Work on updating the policy and procedure documents including complaint mechanisms, code of conducts internal regulations etc. Seek ways to increase transparency of Proud Lebanon’s system of reviewing results and use of performance information.
POSITION ELEMENTS

Travel requirements:  In-country occasional travel (Zahle & Tripoli, beside the main office in Beirut) will be required to monitor and evaluate programs, conduct assessments.

Experience in developing and diffusing M&E tools. e. Experience with data collection, management, analysis and report production. f. Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and other data collection software. g. Spoken and strong writing skills to prepare reports h. Excellent inter-personal and inter-cultural skills. i. Fluent in English and Arabic j. Prior Work Experience: Minimum of three years of progressively responsible professional experience in a performance monitoring and/or evaluation role.
