Background
ONDES is a Lebanese organization located in Sin El fil.
We promote local development within communities and municipalities through consulting, capacity building, studies and public events. We aim for increasing citizen participation in local governance as an essential pillar in local development.
We believe in the vital role women play in society as economic, social and political actors and work on promoting their inclusion through development and networking programs at the local and national level.
In a region struggling with conflicts, youth are the catalysts for real change. We seek to empower them as vital stakeholders in peace-building through coaching and capacity building training.
All our programs follow a participatory approach in which participants take part in the projects’ design and implementation.
Tasks:
For this position, we are looking for someone to:
Create and manage online platforms: Establish and maintain a presence across various online platforms, including social media, website, forums, and discussion groups.
- Engage with community members: Actively participate in conversations, answer questions, and address concerns.
- Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics.
- Handle all marketing and communication requests/needs for the designated accounts to be handled.
- Follow up with the graphic designer to make sure all posts are ready on time
- Support the MEAL team with the reporting by providing comprehensive and clear data on social media performance.
Perform other related duties as required.
