Social Worker
Purpose of the position
Design, develop and implement preventive measures and treatment taking into account the cognitive, social, and emotional development of children
Provide expertise to assess the social development and needs of children
Permanent Tasks
Assist in social diagnosis
Follow-up or direct children who are in need of social assistance
Participate in the implementation of the institute’s project
Permanent activities
Assist in social diagnosis
Prepare social case assessments (collect information, conduct interviews, give tests and synthesize work, and restitution)
Organize and conduct meetings with various social organizations
Monitor and assess the status of the child compared with other children and adults
Provide social support
Establish a trust relationship between the child and the team
Help and care for children as individuals or part of a group
Build and implement mechanisms for social intervention and preventive measures
Provide direct support for children toward internal social adjustment and ensure external support from specialized services
Participate in the preparation of individual project
Provide support for the team’s monitoring of the child’s social background
Collaborate and advocate for the child’s case
Participate in group meetings and in the synthesis and analysis practices
Participate in the institute’s project
Identify and define the needs and expectations of children
Find the right answers
Implement work within the social network and be involved in the implementation of projects
Skills required
University degree BA or above in Social Work
Minimum two years experience of field work with children
Knowledge of child-related laws and regulations
Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team
Ability to listen, observe, and analyze
Strong communication skills
Technology literate
Adhere to professional ethics of secrecy
