Review past and current psychosocial support activities and propose changes that will further strengthen women and children’s recovery from GBV, conflict related violence and displacements.
Work with partners and NCA staff to enhance current efforts for the reintegration of GBV survivors with families and within local communities.
Ensure that PSS activities are in line with international standards and protocols for amongst others confidentiality, code of conduct, referrals, case management and medication.
Strengthen efforts for measuring the impact of the psychosocial services on the health and recovery of the women and children supported.
Assess partner and NCA staff’s technical competence levels, and design and organize capacity strengthening measures that address identified weaknesses.
Improve NCA and partners’ approaches to management, follow-up and duty of care for PSS staff.
Coach partner and NCA staff on program management aspects including the different phases of the project cycle.
At the end of the assignment, provide recommendations for the further development and strengthening of the program.
