The main purpose of NARD is to defend the rights of persons with disabilities, to develop an information center on disability run by persons with disabilities and to encourage networking among disabled people organizations (DPOs) nationally and regionally.As for NARD vision, it is to work for a society that accept diversity and respect the fundamental human rights of all citizens including persons with disabilities. NARD mission is to make the disability cause a human right issue and the concern of all sectors of society, and to work for a united disability movement.
