  • Develop the monitoring and evaluation plan for each program and project.
  • Develop scientific and reliable monitoring and evaluation tools to ensure effective collection and analysis of program and project data.
  • Provide relevant timely updates to the direct supervisor on the progress of M&E activities.
  • Measure KPIs set by the Program/Project Managers and coordinate with the field officers to collect data.
  • Provide project staff with M&E tools and support in their implementation.
  • Conduct field M&E visits to observe, validate, and capture additional data.
  • Collect and document case study and lessons learned, champion the scaling up best practices and conduct beneficiary tracking, if asked to.
  • Conduct field visits for data validation and to monitor the quality and completeness of data sets and implementation; coordinate data collection at project sites to monitor program development and ensure timely compilation and reporting of data;
  • After monitoring visit, compile monitoring findings and prepare reports to share with respective project focal and line Manager.
  • Participate in focus groups to generate topics for survey to be conducted by Movement Social.
  • Prepare periodic reports according to the partners’ M&E standards and requirements.
  • Analyze data and produce high-quality reports that highlight key findings, trends, and recommendations for program improvement. Ensure that evaluation findings and lessons learned are utilized to inform adaptive management and decision-making.
  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports about M&E activity as instructed by the direct supervisor.

 

Qualifications:

  • University (Bachelors) Degree in any Social or Natural Sciences (i.e. Politics, Economics, International Development, Public Administration)
  • 2 years previous experience in the design and implementation of M&E systems for development or humanitarian projects.
  • Excellent ICT skills (including Excel and datasets).
  • Excellent knowledge of PCM and M&E methodologies.
  • Experience of report writing for development/humanitarian projects.
  • Experience of working on an EU funded project/knowledge of EU rules and regulations.
