Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise all MoSA field staff activities, interventions, action plans, and day to day tasks
- Ensure MoSA priorities, strategies, SOPs, are being implemented by all LCRP partners in the region
- Chair the inter-agency and inter-sector meetings, at regional level.
- Lead the eviction committee in the region
- Lead the Area of Tension Working Groups
- Participate in regional working groups of all sectors especially those lead by MoSA
- Share with the Deputy General Supervisor Minutes of meetings of all meetings (inter-agency, inter-sector, regional sector meetings, NGOs, Municipalities, security forces, LCRP staff, government counterparts, etc… conducted within 48 hours of the meeting.
- Liaise with government, agencies and regional representative of international organizations involved in the Syrian crisis, and with relevant ministries.
- Assist MoSA in linking effectively with local stakeholders, especially municipalities and mukhtars, as relevant.
- Compile, develop and continuously update databases and local maps on the types of services provided in the region, along with the identification of service providers and identify their geolocation.
- Assist in identifying the needs of displaced Syrians and Lebanese host families, as well as other persons of concern
- Assist in information sharing with major international and local donors working in the region after proper authorization from the General Supervisor.
- Inform MoSA's central team on any requests of interventions and assistance coming from local counterparts, such as municipalities and NGOs or other relevant institutions.
- Provide MoSA LCRP field workers with a weekly activity schedule.
- Review MoSA LCRP field workers monthly report and share them with MoSA central office.
- Ensure all MoSA LCRP field workers are properly trained on all LCRP SOPs, tools, and policies.
- Perform at least 2 meetings per month with all MoSA regional field workers to update them on the priorities, status quo, ongoing activities, and gather feedback to share with MoSA central office.
- Responsible for maintaining all regional MoSA LCRP equipment in good condition.
- Ensure MoSA policies are properly implemented by all actors in the region.
- Develop a monthly M&E report for the region in coordination with the M&E officer.
- Review the monthly report to ensure the regions progress towards the assigned objective. Suggest corrective action if goal are not being met.
- Assist field workers (outreach) operating from involved MoSA's SDCs to plan and implement activities, in coordination with SDC directors and staff
- Advise the central team project proposals, contributing to the development of national plans and unit reports
- Assist in establishing a need assessment framework at the regional level.
- Coordinate with the local branches of the security committee to assist in planned activities; coordinating with consultants in the field on specific tasks.
- Lead and coordinate the emergency response plans related to floods, fires and other influxes, in coordination with the regional inter-agency response focal person
- Supervise the work of MOSA staff tasked with add-ons and coordinate the add-on process at the UNHCR Reception Centers, managing relevant data.
- Manage the team of MOSA field workers (info desk) that will be providing information on existing services such as education, legal residency and health to refugees at UNHCR Reception Centres. This includes ensuring that they abide by safe identification and referral principles and are continuously updated about relevant counseling lines on services offered by LCRP partners.
- Provide a monthly report to the Deputy General supervisor on all activities, referrals, initiatives, and meetings conducted during the reported month.
- Provide the Shelter site improvement advocacy when needed.
- Perform other tasks requested by the General Supervisor.
