Title: Strategist/NST
Under the “NGOs are stronger together” NST project, MEPI Lebanon Alumni Association is recruiting 3 strategists, each to work with a group of about 30-35 individuals. The strategist will be assigned to a group where he/she will help them set respective action plans by singling out the problems to be addressed and clearly defining the desired outcome in the following fields:
Youth empowerment
Rural development
Citizenship
“NGOs are stronger together” NST, a civil society coalition that fosters stronger coordination, communication and collaboration between NGOs in the purpose of achieving results and provoking reform.
Experience and competence required are:
Expertise in report and strategy writing.
Expertise in Lebanese Civil Society needs, challenges, status, and capacity.
Expertise in capacity building approaches and tools.
Capacity to work under pressure and with a diversified group of people.
Capacity to reconcile priorities and find common complementary goal for an inclusive strategy.
Have coaching experience.
Our main goals for this project are:
NGOs work together for a common cause
NGOs share responsibility and success
NGOs find common denominators to challenges and use demonstrated effective advocacy tools to achieve results
NGOs increase their political knowledge, civic skills and democratic values of the participating.
MEPI LAA priorities from NST project are: Development of networks, partnerships and coalitions of local NGOs, civil society organizations, government officials, and/or the business community.
The candidates will be responsible the following outcomes:
Write a comprehensive and strategic report that includes outcomes and vision
Revise action plan and road map
CONDITIONS
The strategist has to abide by the terms of the contract.
The strategist has to coordinate with the Executive Director to inform on the progress of the work and the difficulties faced.
Any changes for any reason must go through formal channels of official correspondence.
Intellectual property belonging to MEPI LAA "NGOs are Stronger together" Project.
The strategist has to respect deadlines.
