Summary of the Job:
Under the supervision of the site manager, the Workflow facilitator job is to guide and organize the patient’s flow in the vaccination center and act as a liaison between patients and health care professionals in their respected units, alongside with supporting the Ministry of Public Health’s vision and effort to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic.
Main tasks and duties:
- Welcome patients on site.
- Facilitate communication between patients and staff.
- Facilitate the patient flow between the different stages of the vaccination process, ensuring proper circulation of persons according to the one-way patient flow set-up.
- Guide the patients to and from their designated unit (Registration, Pre-checklist assessment, Vaccination site, Monitoring area and then to Exit).
- Prevent unacceptable waiting time.
- Act as a focal person between relevant staff to organize number of people entered to site.
- Communicate with patients about workflow, available services and expected duration of the different stages.
- Assist patients with special needs or with disabilities with proceeding between the different stages.
- Assist patients with check-in and check-out procedures.
- Ensure Clients waiting in the waiting area or in line are physically distanced.
- Commit to working hours.
- Commit to maintain professional ethics, quality of care, patient confidentiality.
- Abide by all policies and work procedures.
- Treat all patients with respect and professionalism.
- Perform any other tasks based on needs to ensure proper roll out of the vaccination, upon manager and site supervisor’s request.
Qualifications and experience required:
- At least secondary degree / any degree in health sciences is a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and conflict management skills.
- Demonstrate an understanding of standard clinical procedures, laws and regulations.
- Basic Computer skills (especially in using the electronic medical file), electronic printer, fax, etc.
- Languages: Arabic (Fluent), English (Good).
