GRAPHIC DESIGNER FOR VISIBILITY MATERIAL

BACKGROUND

Mada seeks a qualified Graphic Designer to work on the design of visibility materials for the agroecological farmers' network, which aims to promote sustainable farming practices, strengthen farmer-consumer connections, and support local markets. The designer will also assist in defining printing specifications to ensure the production of high-quality materials.

JOB SUMMARY

The Graphic Designer will be in charge of:

  • Meeting with Mada to gather inputs that feed into design.
  • Designing 2 roll-up banners (in both Arabic and English), an informational flyer (in both Arabic and English) highlighting the network's objectives and activities, branded table covers for use at farmers' markets and events, and eco-friendly bags featuring the network’s logo.
  • Proposing 2-3 design options for each item and finalizing the designs based on feedback from Mada.
  • Supporting the development of material and printing specifications to ensure high-quality production.
  • Collecting 3 quotations from printing companies and coordinating with Mada to review samples before finalizing the printing process.

DELIVERABLES

  • Design of a roll-up banner English and Arabic Versions; in an easily updatable format
  • Flyer (with generic template)- 1 pager; A5; Back and Forth English and Arabic Versions; in an easily updatable format.
  • Branded table cover design featuring the network’s logo.
  • Design for eco-friendly bags featuring the network’s logo.
  • 3 printing quotations and approval of the samples for each item (flyer, table cover and eco-friendly bags) .

All designs should be provided in high resolution, suitable for both print and digital use.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • University Degree or Technical Degree in Graphic Designing
  • Strong practical background in graphic design, including the use of design software such as Adobe Design Premium, In-Design, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
  • Show a clear and mature style of design, demonstrating an understanding of the communication requirements of Mada
  • Proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes (offset and digital) and colour management
  • Working experience in development or humanitarian environment is desirable
