Localising the 16 days of activism against GBV - تعزيز محليّة حملة الـ ١٦ يوم لمناهضة العنف على أساس النوع الاجتماعي

The Arab Renaissance for Democracy and Development and Lebanon Support cordially invite you to a discussion on “Localising the 16 days of activism against GBV”. 

Based on data and cases from the ground, participants are invited to reflect on:

• how to convey local needs and priorities in the global campaign of activism against gender based violence, 
• how to make use of this international momentum to advocate and campaign for policy reforms on the local and national level, 
• and how to better inform global campaigns to be more in accordance with local needs and priorities. 

This meeting will take place on Tuesday 8 December at 11am (Jordan and Lebanon time), and will gather civil society actors on gender from the region.

بناءً على المعلومات والبيانات على الأرض، المشاركين/ات مدعوّين/ات للتفكير في:

• كيفية إيصال الحاجات والأولويّات المحليّة إلى الصعيد الدولي في نطاق هذه الحملة،
• كيفية الاستفادة من هذا الموعد الدولي للمناصرة من أجل إصلاحات سياسية على النطاق المحلي،
• وكيف يمكننا التأثير على الحملات الدولية كي تتماشى مع الحاجات والأولويات المحلية.

موعد الاجتماع في: ٨ كانون الأول/ديسمبر، الساعة ١١ صباحاً (توقيت الأردن ولبنان).

سيضمّ الاجتماع فاعلين في المجتمع المدني وفي قضايا الجندر من المنطقة.
