LHIF #4Lebanon Campaign – Graphic/Web Designer TOR

Delivery Date of Static Info-graphic Product: 19th August 2016

Delivery Date for Interactive Web-Element: 2nd September 2016

Deliverables:

·         Design and production of a static, complex info-graphic (LHIF will provide data and messaging)
·         Packaging of info-graphic as interactive web-element (Must have knowledge of HTML and CSS)
·         Webpage design and implementation to incorporate the info-graphic together with 5-8 static and video human interest stories (stories to be produced by LHIF members) and fact-boxes, into the www.LHIF.org/4Lebanon in a style and layout that is consistent with the existing content

Campaign Purpose:

In the run-up to high-level UN summits in September, LHIF intends to highlight the need to maximize resettlement to third countries for Syrian refugees in Lebanon and expand the number of resettlement and other legal admissions opportunities available to them. The campaign aims to create products that are easily shareable and injectable into a number of ongoing civil society initiatives in Europe, North America and the international community in the Syria Region around the summits.

Campaign Products:

Static Info-graphic: A complex info-graphic comprised of a number of panels that highlights the scale of the situation in Lebanon and the relatively small number of Syrians who have departed Lebanon through resettlement and other legal humanitarian pathways (concept to be discussed and finalized together with designer).

Human Interest Stories & Fact Boxes: LHIF and LHIF members will be producing photo and/or video-based human interest stories for the campaign, as well as fact boxes.

Interactive Element and Webpage:  The previous iteration of the #4Lebanon campaign is currently hosted on www.LHIF.org/4Lebanon. As opposed to creating a new webpage, it is the intention to update the current webpage embedding an interactive version of the info-graphic that enables you to click on different elements for further detailed information (i.e. fact boxes) and/or human interest stories.
