Mission Statement:

The volatile Lebanese political and security circumstances both locally and in the region; the disasters and crises that took place or might take place in Lebanon; and the lack of official readiness and capabilities to face these challenges; render the development and expansion of LSA activities to cover the Lebanese territories; a human and national need and duty.

Vision:

The vision is to develop and expand LSA, in particular, the Emergency and Relief Corps and Academy, and to ensure its coverage all over the Lebanese territories; to meet our motto “in every home a first respondent and in every village an emergency and relief team”.

Further, to plan and execute relief, humanitarian, development, health, and social projects and activities in ordinary circumstances and in disaster and crisis situations; with emphasis on the most vulnerable and deprived including Syrian and Palestinian refugees.

Principles and Values

LSA is guided by the following principles and values: professionalism, humanitarian, neutrality, and collaboration (with the Lebanese authorities and other national and international entities), to serve people regardless of their gender, religion, affiliations, and ethnicities.

Through its commitment to these values ​​and principles, LSA is creating a peacebuilding culture and sets of values among youth through volunteerism and appreciation of human rights and human ethics.
