Training Objectives:

  • Teach fundamental accounting concepts tailored to micro and small businesses.
  • Introduce essential bookkeeping tools and practices (manual or digital).
  • Provide guidance on managing income, expenses, profit tracking, and budgeting.
  • Simplify financial literacy for women with limited prior experience in accounting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an accessible, interactive training curriculum suitable for non-specialists.
  • Deliver 3 half-day in-person sessions in Arabic.
  • Offer practical examples relevant to rural entrepreneurs (home-based businesses, food production, crafts, etc.).
  • Provide printed or digital training materials for participants.
  • Submit a short report summarizing content delivered and participant feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in training delivery, especially in community or grassroots settings.
  • Knowledge of simplified accounting tools, including Excel or manual bookkeeping methods.
  • Ability to adapt content for women with varying levels of literacy and education.
  • Fluency in Arabic is required.
  • Must be legally registered in Lebanon and capable of issuing official invoices and receipts with TVA (VAT).

Education Degree:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields is required.
  • Master’s degree or professional certifications (CPA, CMA, etc.) are considered an asset.

Contract Details:

  • Type: Consultancy Contract (Per Session)
  • Number of Sessions: 3 sessions (Half-day each)
  • Period of Employment: Per Session
  • Location: Rural areas in Lebanon (exact location to be confirmed)
  • Remuneration: Competitive rate per session, based on qualifications and experience
