Lebanese Down Syndrome Association

The Lebanese Down Syndrome Association [LDSA] is an independent organization that was established in 1998 and is run by parents whose commitments are to secure the needed resources to fulfill its mission and to gain the support of the general public.

LDSA VISION

strives to build an inclusive society, which acknowledges the abilities of all people, particularly those with Down Syndrome, supports their needs, and encourages the achievement of their full potential for successful and happy lives, as individuals and as citizens.

LDSA MISSION

promotes and supports:

1. Self-determination for people with Down Syndrome.

2. Positive public awareness about people with special needs and particularly people with Down Syndrome

3. Inclusive education.

4. Employment in inclusive settings.

5. Progressive legislation and litigation for an inclusive society.
