Istituto Oikos has been working in Lebanon since 2017. Istituto Oikos in Lebanon is currently running projects in the fields of biodiversity, conservation of natural resources, water management in agriculture, food security.
The selected person will part of the team of the project BRIDGE - Basic health services, vocational training, socio-economic inclusion and interreligious dialogue for the integration of Syriac and Chaldean minorities (AID 012970/01/5), funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, AICS. The project is run in partnership with Farah Social Foundation (FSF), the Chaldean Charitable Society in Lebanon (CCSL) and the Specialized Centre for Accessible Learning and Education (SCALE by NRDC). 

Key Responsibilities
•    Oversee day-to-day office operations in Beirut and ensure logistical support for field activities.
•    Support the PMs in the procurement processes in line with the Donors and internal procedures.
•    Ensure the follow-up of the supply for offices and projects.
•    Support the PMs in updating purchasing timelines following the logistical constraints.
•    Manage travel arrangements, workshops, and community events logistics.
•    Liaise with suppliers, local authorities, and partner organizations as needed.
•    Supervise the maintenance of the offices and the guesthouse, the rent contracts deadline as well as the payments for the rent and the utilities.
•    Translation of simple documents from Arabic to English and vice-versa.
•    Collaborate with the country coordinator (CPE) in ensuring compliance with safety regulations
Requirements
•    3–5 years of professional experience in operations, logistics, or project administration—ideally with a local or international NGO.
•    Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, International Development, or a related field.
•    Strong knowledge of Lebanese legal and administrative frameworks.
•    Familiarity with international donors (EU, AICS, etc.) is a strong advantage.
•    IT skills, including excellent level of MS Office package and Excel in particular or other accounting/management applications
•    Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English; Italian is a plus.
•    Driving licence Class 1 (cars).
