ANALOG RECORDING and PRODUCTION TECHNIQUES - من الأنالوج إلى الديجتال والمقارنة بينهما

ما زال الشريط المغناطيسي (أو الأنالوج) يقدّم أفضل جودة تسجيل صوتي، وهو المعيار الذي تتمّ مقارنة جميع وسائط التسجيل الأخرى به.

سوف نستكشف استخدامه كوسيط أرشيفي أو كحالة عابرة للوسيط الرقمي، بحيث يمكن البحث عنه لجمالياته أو صفاته الصوتية الخاصة. إضافةً إلى استكشاف استخدامات الأنالوج من وجهة نظر المنتج الإبداعي، إلى جانب الأمثلة الحيّة والمحاكاة الخوارزمية الحديثة في البرامج، بهدف المقارنة بينهما.

تضمّ ورشة العمل فريقًا من مهندسي الصوت ذوي الخبرة المتنوّعة، بدءًا من البثّ الإذاعي التقليدي القائم على FM وصولًا إلى استوديوهات تسجيل الصوت والموسيقى الحديثة.

سيتمّ اختيار 20 مشاركًا/ةً كحدّ أقصى. وسترسل نتائج الطلب سواء كانت إيجابية أو سلبية خلال 28 شباط.

Analog tape continues to offer the most faithful audio recording quality and is the standard to which all other recording mediums are compared to. 

We will explore its use as an archival medium, or as a transient state to the digital medium where it might be sought out for its particular sound aesthetics or qualities. 

We will also get to explore analog tape uses from a creative producer’s perspective, along with live examples and modern-day algorithmic emulations in software, for comparison. 

The workshop includes a panel of sound engineers with a diverse range of experience, from traditional FM-based radio broadcasting to modern sound and music recording studios.

A maximum of 20 participants will be selected. The application results whether positive or negative will be sent within the 28th of February.
