BACKGROUND

 

INARA provides life-altering medical care and reconstructive surgery for children (0-18 years) who have injuries due to war, blasts, or unsafe living conditions, and are unable to access or afford treatment. INARA’s work consists of filling the gap in access to free of charge medical and surgical treatment. INARA also supports ongoing cases with medication, medical equipment (such as prosthetic, eyeglasses, glass eyes, hearing aids), laboratory and diagnostic testing, transportation, accommodation prior/post-surgery, and other therapeutic regimens (speech therapy, physiotherapy, psychotherapy). In addition, INARA provides psychiatric and psychological therapy services to children in need through its in-house mental health program.

 

DESCRIPTION

Reporting directly to INARA’s President and working with Country Managers, the Human Resources Officer is the lead of all the activities related to Human Resources Management in Lebanon, Turkey, and other areas. INARA is branching into in compliance with INARA’s policies and procedures and domestic legislation. The Human Resources Officer words to provide an enabling environment and ensures that INARA functions effectively and efficiently.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Review and update as needed INARA’s current HR policy and guidelines
  • Ensure that the recruitment policy and guidelines are being implemented and respected.
  • Prepare contracts, amendments and agreements of local personnel.
  • Ensure the personnel file for each staff is complete and up to date and follow up on the contract/agreement ending dates and notify line manager ahead of time
  • Follow up on the staff performance evaluation as per due dates, adjust relevant tool(s) with updated information and inform line managers accordingly;
  • Maintain proper and confidential archiving of HR personnel records
  • Take the lead for the recruitment process of new staff and consultants
  • Provide support with tracking staff contracts and performance review records
  • Collect and review time sheets, leave requests and attendance records in accordance with INARA’s HR policy.
  • Keep track of the personnel leaves and update concerned tools and system(s) accordingly;
  • Serve as the point of contact for all HR matters and/or complaints; in certain cases, escalate any unresolved issues as appropriate to er for resolution, ensuring their sensitive handling.
  • Carry out other duties as requested by the organization’s President and Country Managers.

 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT

 

This position is fully based on remote work.

There may be times when the position holder is required to work on the weekends or evenings and undertake other duties which are broadly in line with the above responsibilities
