Call for Trainers – Entrepreneurship Trainer
INJAZ Lebanon is non-profit organization with a mission to equip youth with the skills and mindset they need to become the entrepreneurs and business leaders stimulating their communities. INJAZ Lebanon is an affiliate of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide®, an international organization dedicated to educating students about work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy through hands-on training programs. INJAZ Lebanon is also a member of INJAZ Al-Arab, a regional network of 14 countries across the MENA region.
Overview
INJAZ Lebanon is seeking qualified Entrepreneurship Trainers to provide training for students ranging from 15 to 17 years old interested in learning the basis of how to start their own business. The training aims to equip participants with essential entrepreneurial mindset and skills to effectively know how to start their own business in the future.
Workshop Overview
- Duration & Location (Date and time will be determined later)
Locations:
1- Akkar/Wadi Khaled (Class 1 AM-Class 2 PM) - 4 sessions each class (3 hrs/session) so total of 12 hours/Class
2- Akkar/Hrar (Class 1 AM-Class 2 PM) - 4 sessions each class (3 hrs/session) so total of 12 hours/Class
3- Akkar/Nahr El Bared Camp (Class 1 AM-Class 2 PM) - 4 sessions each class (3 hrs/session) so total of 12 hours/Class
- The training program is designed to be delivered to 20 participants in each class. The training will consist of 4 sessions, each lasting 3 hours, totaling 12 hours of training for each class.
Objectives:
- - Cultivate creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills.
- - Encourage a proactive and resilient attitude.
- - Enhance critical thinking, communication, and teamwork.
- - Introduce students to various career paths within entrepreneurship.
- - Highlight the importance of entrepreneurship in economic growth, especially in challenging economic contexts like Lebanon.
- - Empower students to take initiative and pursue their ideas.
- - Offer hands-on activities and real-world scenarios to apply entrepreneurial concepts.
- - Provide opportunities for students to develop and pitch their business ideas.
Scope of Work:
The trainer is expected to facilitate the delivery of an interactive entrepreneurship program that encourages youth to explore and develop the skills and mindset needed for ideation and innovation. The Trainer will guide youth through the learning process, fostering an environment that promotes creativity and entrepreneurial thinking.
All training content and materials will be provided by INJAZ Lebanon in Arabic prior to the start of the classes. The Trainer's role will be to effectively engage the students, ensuring the material is delivered in a way that is accessible, inspiring, and conducive to active participation.
Role and Responsibility:
The Entrepreneurship Trainer is responsible for:
- Delivering engaging and interactive training sessions with a focus on real-world applications.
- Facilitating discussions and activities that encourage participants to apply learned concepts to their specific business scenarios.
- Offering support and feedback during the hands-on application session.
Deliverables:
In addition to facilitating the training, the selected trainer will be responsible for consolidating the insights, and recommendations, generated during the workshop into one comprehensive report/document:
The report should include the following:
- - Workshop Overview
- - Workshop Objectives
- - Content Covered
- - Attendance and Participation
- - Challenges and Successes
- - Recommendations
Qualifications:
- The applicant should have at least 2 years of relevant work experience in business development training.
- Any recognized certifications in business development services are a plus.
- The applicant should have good communication skills, empathy, and the ability to motivate individuals.
- Ability to multi-task and to work a flexible or alternative workweek schedule based on project needs.
- Availability to deliver the workshops until the end of December 2024.
Evaluation Criteria:
The Trainer will be selected based on completed application, relevant work experience & overall fit for the program.
- Payment Conditions:
1. Payment shall be made by wire transfer or through Payment Order/Telegraphic Transfer/over-the-counter payment after submission of an appropriate and acceptable original invoice with all the requested to INJAZ Lebanon.
2. INJAZ Lebanon operates through bank Audi and won't handle any transfer or withdrawal charges (To be charged to the trainer)
Submission Requirements:
- CV: Include a comprehensive CV that highlights your educational background, work experience, and relevant achievements.
- Certifications: Attach copies of any recognized certifications in entrepreneurship, career services or related fields.
- Financial Proposal: The financial proposal should include your hourly rate, inclusive of all costs.
