The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer position operates under the authority of the humedica Area Coordinator.The M&E Officer will be responsible for designing and implementing the M&E activities of the project, assisting the Area Coordinator in preparing Monthly/Quarterly/Annual reports on project progress and assist in monitoring and control all project activities on a daily basis.

Duties and Responsibilites:

  • Collaborate with program teams to develop comprehensive M&E frameworks including indicators, data collection tools and monitoring plan in alignment with humedica goals
  • Regularly monitor project activities, outputs and outcome to ensure they are in line with predefines indicators and targets
  • Perform controlling, monitoring and evaluation of all project components
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for further improvement of project activities
  • Conduct phone calls to beneficiaries supported by humedica services
  • Conduct one-to-one serveys with beneficaries supported by humedica services
  • Provide internal M&E reports on a regular basis, e.g. on the project implementation, project progress
  • Provide data and inputs for all periodically reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly etc.)
  • Fill, check and analyze statistics
  • Establish mechanisms of real time feedback collection and integration allowing for rapid program adjustments based on beneficiaries’ insights and needs
  • Facilitate learning and knowledge sharing among teams by analyzing lessons learned and best practice
  • Support Area Coordinator in developing surveys, collecting data and data analysis

Skills & Competencies: 

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience-preferably in health work, community development and non-governmental organizations
  • Experience working with NGOs and/or the humanitarian sector and use of data collection tools
  • Familiarity with health indicators and data collection methods
  • Familiarity with participatory methodologies, community engagement and data analysis
  • Very skilled with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel Software
  • Understanding of and ability to work with data collection software, preferably Kobo Toolkit, ODK and other as relevant
  • Proficiency in using M&E tools, feedback platforms and statistical analysis software
  • Strong analytic skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team enviroment
  • Ability to uphold and exemplify the organization's core values
  • Ability to represent the organization in a professional mannar
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Ability to prioritize tasks
