Position’s mission:
To carry out Clearance tasks, in accordance with the drills and procedures described in the Handicap International Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in conjunction with National Mine Action Standards (NMAS) and International Mine Action Standards (IMAS).
Reports to: Team Leader
Interacts with: Team Leader, QA/QC, Site Supervisor, Support staff
Missions/Responsibilities:
Responsibility: Conduct a safely Clearance.
Aim: Conduct Clearance in accordance with SOP.
Benchmarks: Satisfaction of direct line manager, no non-conformities observation, work accident, annual appraisal
Activities:
- Conduct Clearance activities as part of the mine Clearance/BAC/TS team, and respect procedures in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP),
- Wear your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – ROFI Balistic apron and Balistic Visor at all times when undertaking Live Clearance operations including Excavation,
- Conduct /participate in all assigned tasks as marking, fencing, and sampling, site set-up, etc... in line with SOP’s,
- Show a duty of care to your HI colleagues where safety is concerned. Any violations with safety no matter how insignificant you consider them to be…Report directly and immediately for preventative measures to be enforced,
- Ensure that all materials and equipments used are maintained in good condition and accounted for at the completion of each operational day,
- Report any faults in equipment immediately to the Team Leader,
- Assist in the maintenance of the base (inside / outside) and of the Minefield/Site (Control point and work site area).
- Execute any other duties that are required by the Team Leader.

Qualifications:
Education:
- Desirable: better if possesses additional certificates and experiences: Medic, first Aids, IMAS EOD training, …etc
Experience:
- Essential: Minimum experience in Mine Action NGOs -at least 3 year- as a deminer/Searcher
Language:
- Essential: Speaking Arabic.
- Desirable: Better if he can understand English or French.
Other:
- Possesses a current driver license
- Understanding of road traffic rules and regulations
- Good oral written communication and presentation skills.
- Autonomous in using the basic functionalities of Microsoft office.

Basic salary ranges for the position is going to be paid according to the experience and to HI salary Grid.
Basic Salary: Starting 970 USD
