 Job Summary:

The Programs Officer plays a crucial role in the planning, implementation, and coordination of various programs within the organization. This position involves managing program activities, collaborating with partners, and ensuring the successful achievement of program objectives.


  1. Oversee the implementation of projects to ensure alignment with plans and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  2. Regularly entry and review program data, conduct analysis, and provide feedback for improvements.
  3. Produce periodic reports on project progress, outcomes, and any necessary adjustments.
  4. Conduct follow-up with project managers and departments to ensure the execution of planned activities and tasks.
  5. Conduct field visits to monitor the implementation of the activities.
  6. Identify and address any potential risks or challenges that may impact project success.
  7. Support the evaluation and assessment of program outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
  8. Act as a liaison between different departments to streamline processes and optimize resource utilization.
  9. Lead or participate in meetings, workshops, or training sessions as requested.
  10. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to program activities, expenditures, and outcomes for accountability and reporting purposes.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Sciences. Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in program management, project coordination, or related roles.
  • Proven experience in program management, including planning, monitoring, budgeting, financial management, and report preparation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multi-sectoral teams in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Arabic, enabling effective engagement with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
