1. Main Objective:
This position falls under the capacity building component of the MADAD REBAHS - (Reducing Economic Barriers to Access Health Services in Lebanon) project which aims to increase the capacity of both mental health and non-mental health professionals working on the field with trainings that can empower them in their day-to-day work.
The Emotional Crisis Management (ECM) Trainer will update the existing national crisis management training manual and provide trainings to frontliner staff across Lebanon.
2. Main Tasks:
- In close coordination with Social Promotion Foundation (FPS) and the National Mental Health Programme (NMHP), set the selection criteria of targeted groups (frontliner staff) and select the frontliner staff accordingly
- In coordination with the NMHP, develop and update the existent training manual
- Provide crisis management trainings in the various governorates
- Administer pre and post-tests and training evaluation
- Document all necessary feedback and provide regular training reports to the FPS project coordinator and NMHP
3. Deliverables:
- Update ECM training manual
- Pre and post-tests results
- Training evaluation filled forms
- Training report
4. Qualifications:
- Master in psychology; PhD is a plus
- Training experience of at least 5 years
- Experience in psychological interventions in emergency setting for at least 5 years
- Experience in humanitarian context is a plus
- Strong facilitation and organizational skills
- Motivated-and ability to work in a team
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Willing to travel across Lebanon
6. Languages and Computer Literacy:
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
