Junior Accountant

Main Responsibilities

Prepare, examine, execute and file bank transfers
Preparation of checks and release payments for suppliers and daily expenses
Assist in NSSF, Individual Income Tax, Corporate Income Tax, VAT workings and statutory fillings
In charge of office petty cash
Issue travel advances, monitor travel expenses and settle advances issued as per management approval
Reconciliation of banks, Credit Cards, Sister Companies, Creditors and Debtors
Issue invoices to customers and send through courier
Prepare and pass Journal Vouchers, Payment Vouchers, Receipts, Sales, Credit and Debit Notes
Responsible for accounting and financial electronic and hard copy filling
Perform duties as per protocol of work, filling and archiving
Correspond with affiliated companies, suppliers and customers
Execute bookings and reservations for work purpose
Assist the Accounting and Finance department when and where needed.

Experience

2-3 years’ relevant experience

Skills

Relevant Bachelor degree from a recognized University
Proficiency in English, French, and Arabic
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, etc.
Database Accounting Software knowledge
Ability to work in a team environment
Ability to tolerate pressure in an efficient manner
Strong business communication skills
