Description: 

The Employability Officer will be responsible for developing new internship and employability programs along with improving pre-existing ones. This might include creating job descriptions, establishing eligibility requirements, setting standards for performance evaluation, linking internship opportunities with jobs in the market, finding employment/job  placements in the market etc. Furthermore, the chosen candidate will be accountable for securing internship openings and job positions for the predetermined target. Additionally, he/she will establish Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) to cultivate enduring partnerships with employers.

Promote and introduce DOTLebanon to new potential and existing employers
Assist in developing Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) & partnerships to establish long-term relationships with employers.
Engage and meet employers across the nation and with diverse sectors through in-person or online  meetings
Secure internship opportunities and job placements for the predetermined beneficiaries as per donor’s requirements
Generate monthly reports for Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E), providing key insights and data on program outcomes.
Maintain accurate and updated records of internship and employment placements, in addition to partnerships with employers.  
Ensure proper internship and employability process with Area managers, field officers and local partners. 
Ensure DOTLebanon’s beneficiaries are aware of the  internship program
Develop and keep up-to-date employers’ database.  
Manage the applications throughout the recruitment process by collecting and reviewing applications.
Assess trainees information, including resumes development..
Review candidate application forms to determine qualifications, experience levels, and relevant skill sets. 
Identify candidates with relevant experience and qualifications who may be interested in open positions.
Match beneficiaries with appropriate internships and job positions based on their qualifications, interests, and career goals.
Conduct pre-evaluations and post-evaluations at different levels (1 Month, Quarterly, Mid-Year or end of internship).
Conduct exit interviews with departing interns to assess satisfaction with the program and offer feedback to improve future offerings. 
Reach employers in the private sector local NGOs and INGOs and coordinate with municipalities, Chambers of Commerce, key community leaders, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure successful deliverables
Set and implement a growth plan for the internship program and employment opportunities
Follow up on the recruitment of interns and employees post placements,

Experience in humanitarian and NGOs/INGOs settings is a strong asset.

The starting date is still pending, as we are awaiting the final project approval from the donor.
