RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES of the Health Educator within Reproductive Health Program in partnership with Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP)

  1. Data Entry and Outreach:
  • Entering data within set timeframes through ensuring completeness and accuracy
  • Reaching the target throughout the project through conducting field visits

 

  1. Implementation of awareness sessions and Campaigns, Establishment of Peer-to-Peer Groups:
  • Implement awareness sessions for youths and caregivers on reproductive health
  • Implement peer-to-peer sessions and capacity building trainings
  • Coordinate and plan for awareness campaigns

 

  1. Reflection and Report Writing:
  • Updating the project coordinator with the daily implementation and challenges if any.
  • Submitting a weekly and monthly reports to the project coordinator

 

  1. Coordination and Relationships:
  • Performing a professional coordination with stakeholders and community leaders to facilitate the implementation of sessions and campaigns

 

  1. Safety and Protection:
  • Present complete commitment to Nabaa’s protection policies and code of conduct
  • Encourage and guarantee that beneficiaries are safe and protected
  • Refer cases to the psychologist if any

 

  1. Other duties and responsibilities:
  • Performing other relevant duties and responsibility if assigned

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  1. Education/ Training/ Certification:
  • Bachelor Degree in nursing or other related field
  1. Experience
  • At least 2 years proven experience in nursing and health
  1.  Competences/ Personal Attributes (as needed for performing selected tasks)
  • Attentive to details and problem-solving
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
