Daleel Madani, the civil society network, is expanding with new features and widening its geographic scope to other regions: we’re going global! 
Launched in Lebanon, during the July 2006 war, Daleel Madani is considered the main civil society reference in Lebanon, and gathers over 1 million pageviews per month from users around the world. Through expanding its geographic coverage, civil society actors across the globe can now benefit from the various features and functionalities offered by Daleel Madani.

Daleel Madani aims to strengthen cooperation, thus limiting duplication of work, and enhancing the civil society sector. In addition, it is dedicated to promoting accessible information about civil society, in a belief in the right to information and in the importance of transparent civil society work.

To this day, Daleel Madani is host to more than 1000 civil society actors, including: 
810 local CSOs in Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, and Syria.

4 DM groups have been launched featuring 13 discussions among civil society actors.

Registered members on Daleel Madani can now interact and organise on the platform through the DM Groups!

Daleel Madani Groups, are a tool on Daleel Madani, in line with the programme’s mission to strengthen civil society capacity, knowledge exchange, and partnerships among civil society actors.
Daleel Madani (DM) Groups are online collaborative spaces that aim to bring together civil society actors around specific thematic issues. DM Groups provide an online space for discussion, concerted action, and planning of campaigns and collaborations. You can read more and join groups here

 

Organisations can now benefit from up to five different accounts for team members on Daleel Madani!

The Manage Members feature allows different team members/users in your organisation to use its Daleel Madani account. This way, your organisation will be able to have each concerned team member post relevant content on the website: for example, the human resources officer can post jobs and calls, the project officers/ managers post news about projects, and advocacy officers engage on the Groups. 

While this new feature allows multiple users, each organisation assigns one admin user, responsible for managing and overseeing other users. The admin user can assign up to 5 user accounts for other members of your team, each with specific roles allowing them to add and edit on Daleel Madani: Jobs, Events, Projects, Calls, Press Releases, Resources, and/or Groups. One person can have two or more roles.

Experts & freelancers can now enroll on our Roster! 

The Experts Roster is an online directory of identified and verified experts, tailored to facilitate civil society actors’ search for relevant and suitable talents with specific skill sets. By providing a community-endorsed, community-validated list of specialists, the Experts Roster enhances the transparency of recruitments and performance assessments, increases the availability of and accessibility to skills of experts, and ensures more reliable, thus efficient, work. Organisations registered on Daleel Madani can access the Experts Roster for a small fee, click here for more. 

Individual experts with relevant experience, who are available for short-term and/or freelance assignments, are invited to register on the roster, provided they receive endorsements from 3 different organisations registered on Daleel Madani. Read more here.
