Certified Psychologist – Rehabilitation, Addiction and Prevention

Responsibilities:

Evaluate residents to understand their substance abuse history and mental health needs.

Collaborate with the center’s team to create personalized plans tailored to each resident's needs and goals.

Offer individual, group dynamics, group therapy and psycho-educational sessions using evidence-based techniques to address addiction and related issues that can help residents through their journey.

Reporting to the clinical director and participating in the weekly meetings.

Provide counseling and education to the resident’s families
to help them understand and support patients in their recovery journey.

Participate in community outreach activities and events organized by the center to raise awareness about addiction and prevention.

Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology or related field.

Licensure or certification as a psychologist.

Experience in addiction treatment or related field
preferred.

Strong communication, reporting and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
