Besme Support For Young Palestinian Refugees On Media

Besme and Nashet Social and Cultural Association organized a launching event for the new project “Youth Cinema and Media” on 13 May 2016 at Ayn El-Hilweh Palestinian Refugee Camp in Saida. Mr. Zafer Al-Khatib, Chairman of Nashet, Mrs. Gulshan Saglam, the General Manager of Besme, Mr. Niyazi G.Atay, Deputy General Manager of Besme, Fatma Atay, Project Manager of Besme, Dr. Ramzi Awad the Director of Arab Training Center, Mahmoud Briech and Haitham Abou Ghizlan were present during the event.
The ceremony was opened by the word of the project coordinator Ms. Nahida Halemeh that welcomes the attendees and underlines that the target of the project is to enable young people to express their community issues through youth talented point of view. With the guidance of skilled professional trainers, who proved their special role in public affairs, the project aims at expanding the capabilities of young Palestinians.
Dr. Zafer Al-Khatib, emphasized on the depth of the relationship with Besme, appreciating its contribution in supporting Palestinian refugee community in Lebanon. Underlining the fact that Besme support for Palestinian people was vital for them in the summer of 2015. In the wake of armed clashes at the camp, the project titled ‘Peace for Everybody’, a three-day long summer activity program in Lebanese countryside, was a vent hole to breathe for Palestinian women and children. Dr. Al-Khatib, stressing on the rapid reaction of Besme via mentioned project, concluded that Besme support for Palestinian youth in media production skills will soon be a mechanism to be able to reflect the issues and needs of refugees in Lebanon.
Following the brief description of each course, which will be held six hours a week for one month, by trainers Haitham Abou Ghizlan, Dr. Ramzi Awad and Mahmoud Breich, Mrs. Saglam spoke of partnership between Besme and Nashet, more than a year long relation, which highlighted Besme interest in Palestinian refugees’ issues in Lebanon. Praising the role of Nashet at Ayn El-Hilweh Camp, she pointed out the significance of job creation activities, such as the one launched, which will enable young Palestinians to absorb the knowledge and skills to have a professional career in their life.
بسمة تدعم اللاجئون الفلسطينيون الشباب في دورة تدريبية في الاعلام
نظمت بسمة وجمعية ناشط الاجتماعية الثقافية حفل افتتاح مشروعها الجديد " الشباب والسينما و الاعلام" في 13 أيار 2016 في مخيم عين الحلة للاجئين الفلسطينيين في صيدا بحضور السيدة غولشان صغلام مدير عام بسمة والسيد نيازي أتاي نائب مدير بسمة والسيدة فطمة أتاي مديرة المشاريع في بسمة والدكتور رمزي عوض مدير عام مركز التدريب العربي ومحمد بريش وهيثم أبو غزلان.
افتتح الحفل بكلمة الاستاذة ناهدة حليمة منسقة المشروع التي رحبت بالحضور مذكرة ان المشروع يهدف الى تمكين الشباب للتعبير عن قضايا مجتمعهم بعين شبابية مبدعة واسهام احترافي من قبل عدد من المدربين الماهرين الذين اثبتوا كفاءة ومهارة في مجال عملهم المهني ودورهم المميز في الشأن العام؛ ويهدف المشروع ايضاً الى زيادة قدرات الشباب الفلسطينيين.
ثم القى الدكتور ظافر الخطيب كلمة أكد فيها على عمق الروابط مع بسمة شاكرا اسهامها في دعم مجتمع اللاجئين الفلسطينيين في لبنان . مؤكداً دعم بسمة للشعب الفلسطيني صيف 2015 في أعقاب الاشتباكات المسلحة في المخيم من خلال نشاط ترفيهي على مدى ثلاثة ايام على الاماكن السياحية في لبنان تحت عنوان "السلام للجميع" للنساء والاطفال الفلسطينيين.
أكد الخطيب على الرد السريع من قبل بسمة للمشروع المذكور، خلص الى دعم بسمة للشباب الفلسطيني في مهارات الانتاج الاعلامي التي قريبا سيكون آلية قادرة على عكس قضايا واحتياجات اللاجئيين في لبنان.
ثم قدم المدربون السادة هيثم ابو غزلان والدكتور رمزي عوض ومحمود بريش ملخص عما سيتناولونه في دوراتهم التخصصية والتي تستمر الواحدة منها شهر كامل وعلى مدار "6 " ساعات اسبوعيا .
وقالت السيدة صغلام ان الشراكة بين بسمة وناشط لأكثر من عام تسلط الضوء على اهتمام بسمة بقضايا اللاجئيين الفلسطينيين في لبنان. وأثنت على دور ناشط في مخيم عين الحلوة وأشارت إلى أهمية مثل هذا النشاط خلق فرص العمل، والتي ستمكن الشباب الفلسطيني على اكتساب المعرفة والمهارات اللازمة ليكون لهم مهنة في حياتهم.
