Besme is a non-profit company that abides by the principles of an NGO. It is operated by a qualified team of professionals who have considerable experience in the humanitarian field in Turkey, Cyprus, Central Asia, and the Arab countries, including Lebanon. Our mission is the immediate response to humanitarian crises through developing sustainable projects that contributes in the social and economic development of humanity, through women and youth empowerment and child protecting relying on international human rights documents.The company executes all its projects regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion, national or social status, political affiliation or any other form of discrimination. That being said, Besme does focus mainly on the most fragile groups of society, namely children, youth and women, particularly in rural areas. As such, Besme gives priority to initiatives targeting women and youth empowerment as well as child protection. Besme is independent of any governmental, political, and religious affiliation. Its main aim is to provide the neediest people in and around Lebanon with tools for sustainable change, and it is committed to operating with full transparency and accountability. Based in Beirut, Besme employs associate experts and consultants working on a project basis. Since we work on humanitarian field all workers of Besme works with a great self-sacrificing for helping people.
OBJECTIVES:
The Driver will be responsible for the safe, smooth and efficient transportation of Besme staff in Lebanon.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily check the technical conditions of the vehicle (state of the tires, oil, fuel, brakes, etc.).
Responsible for National Social Security Fund (NSSF) transaction, Bank transaction, Governmental and Non-Governmental transactions.
 Ensure the security of passengers in the vehicle, drive carefully, obey the speed limits and traffic rules in the country.
Ensure that the vehicle is always in good condition.
Ensure that all vehicle documents and the driver’s valid driving license are in the vehicle.
Any other task assigned by the managers.

QUALIFICATIONS

 Valid Driving licence.
Valid motorcycle driving licence.
Baccalaureate degree or equivalent.
Proficient in English, fluent in Arabic oral and written.
Not associated to another job outside Besme Group.
At least 1 year of previous experience as a Driver in NGOs will be an asset.

 
Working Hours:  From 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (Monday till Friday).
Age: 28 – 40
 
Education degree: Baccalaureate Degree or equivalent
