MAIN OBJECTIVE
Main RESPONSABILITIES
The Vocational project Coordinator will:
Coordinate closely with the Project Manager for the elaboration of the Work plan and the Budget forecast, and follow up their implementation;
Elaborating the TVET strategy to ensure the linkage with the market demand and gaps;
Be the main focal point for all the vocational training activities, setting up procedures, monitoring tools;
Coordinate the TVET calendar in collaboration with partners, partnership coordinator and private sector coordinator.
Monitor the implementation of the TVET through spot check and draft the reports;
Consolidate the TVET database in collaboration with partners and M&E team;
Support in selection and recruitment of project staff
Coordinate and supervise the field staff for the realization of the activities related to the vocational courses; follow up their deadline and reporting tasks; coordinate the elaboration of their reports and provide the compiled one;
Follow up the purchase and delivery procedures of tools and materials for the Partners;
Ensure that the sector coordinators coordinate and follow-up the activities with the local partners; facilitate the cross cutting of activities;
Ensure the Monitoring system and tools with the Project manager and the M&E department;
Facilitate the communication and cross-cutting activities among Outreach, Private Sector, BLN and Life skills equips;
Supervise all field activities and liaise with communities, partners, and Project Manager
Be the lead FP for the all field activities of intervention;
Participate to the local donor meetings, when required; establish a strong relationship with the donor field officers;
Participate to the sector Working Group when required;
Represent AVSI in the regional meetings upon request;
Fulfill reporting requirement;
Perform any other relevant duties as required.

Voational Project Manager and Livelihood Program Manager
STUDIES REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree in Development/Humanitarian Studies, Social Science or Information Management.
Excellent computer skills; knowledge of excel and other data entry programmes.
An understanding of youth education and vocational programme.
Strong organizational and team working skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Good cultural awareness and sensitivity.
Strong documentation, research and report writing skills.
Knowledge of the NGO operations and the dynamics of the humanitarian sector.
