BRAVE III Project partners are recruiting Financial Literacy Trainers to deliver Financial Literacy Training Sessions for youth and adolescents in various camps and gatherings.

The Financial Literacy Trainer will be responsible for delivering a training on the fundamentals of financial literacy to adolescents and youth. In addition, the incumbent will be required to perform the necessary assessments and reporting on the progress of beneficiaries and the delivery of the sessions.

This position is under BRAVE III Project, implemented by AL-JANA Center in partnership with Witness Association, HDC, Fraternity Association, Venture Association, ULYP, SHAHD Association, and other centers inside the Palestinian Community in Lebanon

BRAVE project targets marginalized children, adolescents, youth, and caregivers living in camps and gatherings. Within the Youth and Adolescents component, BRAVE provides a variety of activities that aim at empowering youth and adolescents and increasing youth chances of employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Training Delivery:
    • Conduct 40 hours of interactive Financial Literacy training sessions for adolescents and youth groups (ages between 16 to 24), employing diverse teaching methodologies to ensure understanding and engagement of youth and adolescents from various backgrounds.
  2. Assessment and Reporting:
    • Implement pre and post-assessments to evaluate participants’ progress.
    • Provide a final workshop report for each training for the direct supervisor inside the implementation center.
    • Keep constant and flexible communication with the Youth Coordinator in the implementation center on the performance of the participants and the scheduling or re-scheduling of the training sessions.
  3. Participant Engagement and Support:
    • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging active participation and addressing queries.
    • Offer individual guidance and assistance to participants as needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of basic financial concepts and the ability to effectively communicate these concepts to diverse audiences.
  • A minimum of one year of industry experience in a related field.
  • Previous experience in volunteering or working in Youth Programs is a plus.
  • A minimum of one year experience in delivering training sessions or workshops.

 

Location: Diverse Palestinian Camps and Gatherings: Tyre – Saida – Beirut – Mont. Lebanon – North – Baalbeck.

Duration: 5 Months (hourly basis – 15 US D/hour)
