The Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) is a regional, independent non-profit organization headquartered in Beirut, Lebanon and working across the Arab region as well as globally. The ACSS serves as a forum for debates around social phenomena, with a focus on dialogues surrounding academic freedom, freedom of speech and expression as well as policies governing social research, access to information and trends in higher education.

Call for Applications Terms of Reference for an External Evaluation of the Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS)

Call

As the current five-year strategy draws to an end in December 2020, the ACSS will start the process of developing a new strategy for the coming phase. As an input into this process, the ACSS, in dialogue with its key donor partners, have decided to commission an external evaluation, assessing the implementation of the current strategy, including a number of specific issues related to the governing and operations of the ACSS.

Online Courses: Set-Up, Design & Delivery Support

This Request for Proposal (RFP) aims at soliciting proposals from individual(s) and/or organizations that are interested in a partnership with the Arab Council for the Social Sciences (ACSS) to provide set-up, design and support in the delivery of online courses and to build the ACSS’s capabilities in this area.
Based on this RFP, interested organizations are invited to submit, by April 13, 2020:
(i) A short capability statement
(ii) A technical proposal; and
(iii) A financial proposal
