Position Summary:
The Monitoring Coordinator is responsible under the direct supervision of the Health Project Manager; the supervision and monitoring of the partner health center on the health care administrative, managerial part that ensure the quality of health care provided for the smooth implementation of the BPRM- funded health project: titled: Critical access for the refugees to medicine and health service (CARMAH)
Additionally, he/she will be responsible for monitoring, gathering information and reporting on the beneficiaries’ health status.
Responsibilities:
Implementation
- In charge of field level monitoring of the activities of the partner health structures, including: data collection, , use of allocated medicines, proper storage, dispense, and recording and medication
- Responsible of provision all related documentation requested as administrative procedures.
- Maintain very close collaboration with the Pharmacist and/or pharmacist assistant on the smooth development of activities in the pharmacy
- Provide feedback to the Health Project Manager about opportunities to improve the services provision and keep up to standards.
- In coordination with MEAL Department, leads project-related assessments with the beneficiaries’, partners, and staff.
- Ensure that all the BPRM activities in the center meet national BPRM standards as per protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure the accuracy of the data and analysis in the health facility. Report results to line manager.
- Provide inputs to Project Manager to ensure that the different components of the BPRM activities are consistent and in link with the health needs of the population
- Participate in implementing referral system for secondary and specialized services.
Supervision / Capacity building
- Identify the training needs and coordinate the implementation of capacity building of medical staff
- Provide technical guidance to the data entry clerk.
- Update oneself on current global standard.
Monitoring and reporting
- Provide analysis of BPRM indicators in monthly report to the Health Project Manager, detailing activities done, supervision, training given, assessments undertaken, etc.
- Contribute to monitoring information outputs (i.e. monthly Monitoring Dashboard)
- Ensure proper data entry on Apricot in comparison with medical records and share information with data manager.
- Collect data, indicators, surveys and assessments according to needs, as requested by the Health Project Manager, and input on a joint analysis.
- Provide bi-weekly and monthly summary of activities to Health Project Manager
- Coordinate closely with Data manager to ensure quality program information are documented and regularly entered in Apricot.
- Report immediately any suspect case that activate the threshold to immediate notify the Health Project Manager and further investigation.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ensure full compliance of partners with Anera and BPRM standards and policies in all project aspects, including but not limited to: Child Protection, PSEA, IT Policy, Anti –Fraud and Corruption Policy, Confidentiality Policy, Code of Conduct, Whistle Blowing, HR Policies and Procedures.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Qualifications
- A university degree in a related field
- 3-4 years’ experience in coordinating health related
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, in both Arabic and English
- Demonstrated knowledge of operating databases and national reporting mechanisms (Activity Info, RIMS, RAIS etc…) is highly desirable
