Project: Menstrual Hygiene Project
With funding from UN Women and the Australian Government, Acted will implement activities tackling period poverty/menstrual hygiene issues. As a part of this, Acted plans to support a community-based entities to set up a manufacturing facilities for the local production of menstrual hygiene products in Bourj Hammoud, Saida, Tripoli and Zahle. The project will provide support for equipment and raw materials, as well as staffing support to kick start operations and sales for three months. In addition, the project will provide vocational & life skills training to vulnerable populations working on production & sales.
Acted is now seeking an ENT Doctor to conduct a visit to Nusaned hub and check the sound from the pad machine and provide us with a report if this sound would damages the ears and if the headsets we are using are enough as a protection, and provide us with some recommendation for the prevention needed.
- Objectives:
- Ensure the safety of the beneficiaries and staff working next to the machine
- Have all the needed precautions measure to ensure the safety of the beneficiaries and staff.
- Deliverables:
- Conduct a visit to Nusaned Hub and check the noise generated by the pad machine
- Provide a report of the visit mentioning the noise level and what could cause being exposed to this noise for several hours, in addition to a recommendation on the precautions needed.
- Qualifications:
- Good communication skills
- ENT doctor with at lease five years of experience
