ABAAD is seeking to recruit an experienced consultant to develop a comprehensive Gender Analysis Guidance Manual specifically tailored to guide practitioners on how to design, implement, and analyse findings from a gender analysis. This guide will help practitioners on how to better understand the gender and power related barriers and opportunities unique to the Lebanese context when designing our programming.

ABAAD is seeking to contract a consultant to conduct a feasibility assessment for a proposed project to be implemented in Lebanon financed jointly by terre des hommes Germany and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). 

ABAAD is offering grassroots civil society organizations the chance to take part in an in-person Training of Facilitators on its newly launched Basic Life Skills Program. The BLSP aims at equipping women and girls with essential skills to effectively navigate and overcome challenges posed by crises. The program comprises 51 sessions spread across three main axes: 1) Private and Public Areas, 2) Social Issues, and 3) Economic Issues. It empowers participants to handle crises at individual, family, and community levels through practical knowledge and specialized support mechanisms.

ABAAD is seeking to contract two individual consultants of which 1) a National Consultant and 2) a Youth Researcher to support in conducting the end-term evaluation of the Generation G program.

This project aim at promoting active and inclusive citizenship particularly among the country’s civil society and future change-makers: youth. This will contribute to advancing gender equality and will be achieved by engaging and capacitating youth and CSOs to take part in reformative grassroots-level movements. By fostering and consolidating essential allyships within local communities, a multi-stakeholder’s approach is cultivated with the goal of advocating for essential reform, combating GBV, and forging violence-free societies.

Following the successful completion of the capacity building for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Lebanon, ABAAD is pleased to announce the launch of Phase Two. This upcoming phase presents a valuable opportunity for CSOs to engage actively and participate in the training series in the project "Engaging Civil Society and Youth in Gender-Inclusive Citizenship and Leadership in Lebanon," funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund (UNDEF).

The overall goal of this assignment is to provide dance therapy training sessions in ABAAD’s safe shelters in the three different regions.
