In line with ABAAD’s accountability principle towards the beneficiaries, partners, and the donor, ABAAD is seeking an external evaluator to conduct a final evaluation of the overall project progress and results against the objectives and indicators of achievement.

The evaluation will assess the impact, and effectiveness of the project; explore the key factors that have contributed to the achieving or not of the intended results; and determine the extent to which the project contributed to empowering the mentioned organizations.

ABAAD is excited to announce an opportunity for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs`) to actively participate in our project “Engaging Civil Society and Youth in Gender-Inclusive Citizenship and Leadership in Lebanon” that is a project funded by the UN Democracy Fund - UNDEF.

This workshop series comes as part of the Generation Gender program -a five-year advocacy program that aims at forging gender-just and violence-free communities and promoting equal access to rights by positively influencing public opinion, laws and policies, as well as strengthening civil society.

The overall goal of this assignment is to design Advocacy Power Reference Guide.

The consultant will be required to develop and deliver a cultural diversity and sensitivity training to a select group of young men and women from various socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. This workshop will enable participants to better and more effectively engage communities at the grassroots around topics relating to gender equality and social roles all the while minimizing the likelihood of backlash, push-back, and resistance.

Generation Gender is a five-year program that aims at positively influencing public opinion, laws and policies towards gender justice, as well as strengthening civil society to advocate for gender justice all the while combatting GBV and inequality. More specifically, the program at hand relies on an innovative and inclusive gender-transformative strategy that equips youth leaders and civil society organizations (CSOs) to address the root causes of gender inequality and foster sustainable change.

ABAAD - Resource Centre for Gender Equality - is a local NGO who has been implementing different projects in Lebanon since 2011. Given our commitment to sustainability and ensuring responsible project closure, we are seeking the expertise of a Sustainability and Exit Strategy Consultant. This consultancy aims to develop comprehensive strategies and frameworks to facilitate the sustainable transition and exit from ongoing projects. Femicide, the gender-based killing of women and girls, is a grave and extreme form of violence against women. Mental health issues in both perpetrators and victims are often significant yet overlooked factors in such cases. Understanding the nexus between mental health issues and femicide is critical for developing effective intervention strategies to prevent femicide and better support at-risk individuals. This research aims to unpack the connection between femicide and mental health, revealing critical intervention points.
