Mennonite Central Committee (MCC) is a global, nonprofit organization that strives to share God’s love and compassion for all through relief, development and peacebuilding. Established in 1920, MCC has almost 100 years of experience working with local communities to respond to basic human needs and work for peace and justice and currently operates in 54 countries around the world. MCC has been present in the Middle East for over 50 years, and currently supports projects in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Jordan, Palestine and Egypt. MCC maintains an office in Beirut, coordinating and supporting projects throughout Lebanon which are implemented in close partnership with local organizations. The portfolio of supported projects include food assistance, livelihoods and early recovery, WASH, education, psychosocial support and peacebuilding.

The project aims to provide Food Assistance and Nutritional Awareness to Improve Food Security for Syrian and Palestinian Refugees from Syria, Palestinian Refugees from Lebanon and Vulnerable Lebanese in Beirut and South through the provision of food vouchers.

Implementation duration: Three months from June 2022 to August 2022 (extendable for another three months based on performance)

Implementation locations (Quotations could be provided or either or both governorates)
● Palestinian Gatherings Beirut: Daouk, Said Ghawash and Sabra.
● Palestinian Gatherings South Lebanon: Maashouk, Jal al Bahar, Qasmiyeh, Kfarbada, Wasta, Jeem and Aitanieh.

Bids Submission Deadline: Offer to be received by 20 May 2022

Quotation validity: 90 days

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

وظيفة

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will provide support to MCC’s food security projects in Lebanon and Syria. Based in Beirut, the Monitoring and Evaluation Officer is primarily tasked with supporting Planning, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting (PMER). Responsibilities for this include assisting with proposals and reports, design of surveys/questionnaires, data analysis, field visits, supporting programmatic spot checks, evaluation work, and communications.
