MOSAIC is a holistic program committed to improve the health and well-being of marginalized and vulnerablized groups in Lebanon and beyond. Through its presence and networks in Lebanon and the MENA region, MOSAIC's strategic goal is to achieve the coexistence of people in their respective communities and national systems.

Ten years into the Syrian crisis, the largest displacement and refugee crisis in the world, the conflict continues to have a devastating impact on the region for countries hosting high numbers of Syrian Refugees (SyRs). The Government of Lebanon (GoL) estimates that it hosts over 1.5 million SyRs . This is considered the highest per-capita concentration of refugees worldwide.

The Diakonia International Humanitarian Law Centre (IHLC) promotes respect for the laws of war through independent research, advice, and advocacy. The Centre's Lebanon-based team combines in-depth analysis of the conflict in Syria and the region with capacity development and advice for humanitarian actors. It engages with humanitarian organisations, governments, state armed forces, civil society, and other stakeholders to raise awareness and share knowledge about international humanitarian law (IHL).

Call for Framework contract for Health Insurance

To raise awareness among the general public about the humanitarian situation in Lebanon; and to reflect the various aspects of the Integrated Shelter for Health and Protection project’s achievements across the 3 intervention locations. The material created (pictures, testimonies, potentially videos) will be used for a temporary exhibition held in Beirut (venue to be confirmed), end of August 2021.
