Project Profile – “Safeguarding Human Rights Amid Crisis in Lebanon"

Amid the crisis, Lebanon has witnessed an increase in Human Rights violations specifically towards the most vulnerable groups and individuals. Through promoting a culture of Human Rights and increasing knowledge and skills on how to tackle these issues, CLDH is delivering a 24-month project to promote a Human Rights culture in Lebanon and enable victims of Human Rights violation to become actively engaged in policy reform and public awareness. About the Program:

This Program is an inspiring and innovative program that puts rights holders in the driving seat, while supporting the movement to an impactful and sustainable fight for its rights in 12 countries. In Lebanon, a vibrant community scene would lobby and advocate for economic and social justice. Despite progress, challenges prevail in a highly restrictive legal environment. The program will give voice, leadership and bounding to a community of qualified activists fighting to advance a common agenda in Lebanon.

Oxfam aims to hire an expert consultant/consultancy firm to design and deliver protection strategies aimed at enabling the Protection and Safeguarding of Gender Justice efforts, and to alleviate the pressure on organizations and groups facing such challenges.
