Dorcas plans to enhance capacity for Aleppo-based NGOs and CBOs following the October 2023 Multi-Sector Needs Assessment (MSNA). The MSNA highlighted critical gaps in livelihood, protection, and mental health services, urging stronger local support capabilities. By training community leaders, healthcare providers, and frontline staff, the project aims to bolster local response efforts effectively. Training will occur in Aleppo Governorate, Syria, throughout August 2024 (TBD).

Dorcas plans to enhance capacity for local NGOs and CBOs in Aleppo based on a 2023 Multi-Sector Needs Assessment. It identified significant gaps in livelihood, protection, and mental health services among these organizations. To address this, the initiative aims to strengthen local actors, including community leaders and healthcare providers, through targeted training and sensitization programs. This project in Aleppo Governorate seeks to improve prevention and response efforts. Training is scheduled for August 2024 (specific dates TBD).
