EuroMed Feminist Initiative (EFI) is a policy network that encompasses women’s rights
organizations from the two shores of the Mediterranean and advocates for gender equality and
women’s rights as inseparable from democracy building and citizenship, for political solutions
to all conflicts, and for the right of peoples to self-determination. EFI seeks to improve and
promote women’s rights as universal human rights, the value of gender equality and the use of
non-violent means to solve conflicts.

It encompasses women’s rights organizations from the two shores of the Mediterranean and seeks to correct the gender power imbalances through ending discrimination and oppression of women and bringing about positive change for the whole society. Headquarters are in Paris, with offices in Amman, Beirut, and Erbil.

The head office is in Paris and the regional MENA office is in Amman, Jordan with country offices in Amman and Beirut.

EuroMed Feminist Initiative (EFI) aims to have the support of a communication and media agency
specialized in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to develop and execute a best digital
acquisition practice, results-oriented, online media program based on agency’s experience and proven
record. The media and communication agency will be responsible for developing a media strategy and
optimization, planning, and execution of the campaign. The campaign will produce:
i) Develop the visual identity of the campaign and design visuals including videos posts
ii) Social media designs

EuroMed Feminist Initiative (EFI) is implementing the program “Supporting political transition in Syria through gender-sensitive social reconstruction”, funded by the Swedish International Development and Cooperation agency (SIDA). This program aims at contributing to inclusive gender-sensitive peace-building and social reconstruction process in Syria by promoting women’s rights, combatting VAW and gender discrimination and ensuring women’s role and meaningful participation at all levels of political, social and economic reconstruction in Syria.
