AFE is looking for a part-time junior accountant to join its team in Lebanon.

The Yalla Care Coalition groups 8 NGOs (Haven for Artists, Queer Relief Fund, Marsa, LebMASH, Skoon, SIDC, AFE, joined lately by Mosaic), all of which work directly with the LGBTIQ+ community and other key populations. In the past 2 years and following the COVID pandemic and the Beirut Port blast, we came together to ensure that the needs of the community are assessed and met in a community-based approach

The purpose of this engagement is to set out the basis on which the audit company is to provide organizational and projects audit services for “Arab Foundation For Freedom and Equality” for the year 2021.
External Audit is the audit of the organization’s financial records in which the external auditors perform out the task of examining the validity of the company’s financial records to evaluate whether there is any mistake in the records due to fraud, error, or embezzlement.

The mission of AFEMENA is needed now more than ever. Our world and our people are up against unending challenges – closing civil societies, the rise of nationalist governments, escalating anti-Black, anti-immigrant violence, discrimination of people already pushed to the margins, increased economic inequity, growing power of religious, cultural and economic conservatism, and the use of gender “paranoia” to mobilize masses of people toward these conservative and increasingly authoritarian agendas.

SIBA is a regional network on HIV and SRHR of young people from the MENA region, this network aims at raising the voices of the regional situation globally and empowers people in the MENA region by promoting youth leadership in the HIV response and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights SRHR .
The network is fiscally hosted by AFE and it strives to implement three objectives; strengthen the governance of SIBA network, address the challenges facing youth living with HIV to meet the 2030 Global Targets and ensure the sustainability of SIBA network.

The Arab Foundation for Freedoms and Equality is a regional organization dedicated to encourage and support sexual health, sexuality, gender and bodily rights movements in the Middle East and North Africa through capacity building, knowledge production, protection and advocacy. Established in 2009, AFE has been a driver of LGBTIQ+ rights in the MENA region supporting national organizations and local, regional and global advocacy to improve the quality of life of marginalized communities in the MENA region.

Overall Purpose of the ToR and Mission Context.
As part of the PSOP project, AFE with the support of Outright international, will work on the
development of tools and capacity building material that will support in sustaining the newly
established initiatives. The objective is to strengthen the project and organizational management
skills of individuals working on various projects as part of the PSOP project, by providing them with

MCO was founded in 2014 and works through advocacy, information exchange, knowledge production, networking, and capacity building. The M-Coalition strives to involve members of the LGBTQ community and people living with HIV and other key populations at all levels of its strategy, policy development and implementation, and internal governing processes.

This baseline project will build on the situation analysis previously done during the proposal phase and will particularly focus on the gaps. During the baseline, focus will be given to governmental and nongovernmental policies and practices related to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in the 6 MENA region countries to have an exhaustive overview of the situation.
