Facilitator for an online Training on Advocacy and Communication for SIBA

SIBA is a regional network on HIV and SRHR of young people from the MENA region, this network aims at raising the voices of the regional situation globally and empowers people in the MENA region by promoting youth leadership in the HIV response and Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights SRHR . 
The network is fiscally hosted by AFE and it strives to implement three objectives; strengthen the governance of SIBA network, address the challenges facing youth living with HIV to meet the 2030 Global Targets and ensure the sustainability of SIBA network.

Job Description:

A consultant will be hired for 2 days to deliver training on effective engagement in advocacy and communication for Siba members. The consultant is required to create materials using different learning tools (visuals, discussions, group exercises etc.. based on the learning objectives of the training. The incumbent will also prepare a pre and post test to measure the knowledge acquired by the participants from the training.

Expected outcomes by the end of the training:

1. SIBA members will understand the different tools of for effective engagement in advocacy.
2. SIBA members will be able to develop a comprehensive set of practical skills and tools to implement their own communication and advocacy strategy.
3. SIBA members will be able to develop effective messages for a successful communication and advocacy strategy.

Qualifications/special skills or knowledge required of the consultant:

• Degree in communication/journalism and 3 years experience in delivering training on advocacy and communication.
• Knowledge and understanding of SRHR and HIV.
• Experience working with Youth, LGBTQI+, and/or Key populations.
• Fluency in Arabic, English. French is a plus.
