on how local media organizations cover Women rights issues.

Sanadi 2.0 is a complex activity which puts together different aspects of service delivery, knowledge, networking and emergency preparedness. By working together with professionals and different partners in MENA and beyond we are able to improve service delivery, specifically for key populations and to equip activists with tools and knowledge to better respond to emergencies and unconventional situations. The Mapping of

Aging of Key Populations (KPs) is a study aiming to identify the needs of midlife and senior KPs including LGBTQI+, and People living with HIV (PLHIV) in 5 countries in the MENA region. The study will explore different aspects in their lives with a focus on health (ex: the effect of HIV and its medication on PLHIV, mental health, stigma and discrimination, socio-economic situation, etc). The study will also serve as an assessment of the overall health of the KPs and their emerging needs after the age of 45 (heart disease, cancer, menopause, etc.)

AFE is seeking a Human Resource Manager to join its growing team. The selected applicant will work with AFE’s team in the Main Office located in Beirut, Lebanon.

The overall purpose of the Editor in Chief is to develop content for various platforms to engage and cultivate stakeholders, audiences, participants and lead on the development and implementation of effective global communications strategies in order to advance AFE’s mission.
The Editor is expected to improve the overall quality of reporting and will support the staff in report writing and final editing of project deliverables.

Despite the proliferation of research, writing, and discussion on gender and sexuality, much of this work remains unknown or is more generally inaccessible to those who would benefit the most. In large, this is due to a lack of coordination and communication between activists and researchers, which then prevents said parties from benefiting from knowledge already produced—in particular work that has been produced in Arabic. Further still, because of the lack of communication, research and other materials on the same select topics are then constantly reproduced time and time again.

The objective of this consultancy is to support AFE in strengthening the development and implementation of the Financial and Accounting processes and Reporting framework to ensure alignment with relevant accounting standards and reflect current best practices.
The main objective of the Consultancy is to carry out a financial audit of AFE and an assessment of the financial and accounting procedure practices to identify gaps and areas, which may require improvement. Thereafter, a Financial Audit report and a Financial & Accounting Policy and Procedure Manual will be delivered.

The Health Program Manager coordinates and manages the services of the M-Coalition program, pioneering and promoting innovative community-based health services and standards. The Health Program Manager of M-Coalition directs the given department by creating and maintaining the procedures and policies under their supervision, and will implement advocacy activities, monitor performance, and communicate advocacy outcomes. The Health Program Manager of M-coalition also performs general administrative functions, including developing budgets and coordinating with the needs of other programs.

The Arab Foundation for Freedoms and Equality (AFE) is an officially registered non-governmental organization based in Beirut, Lebanon. AFE focuses its efforts exclusively on Arab states across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). AFE supports grassroots activist groups and organizations (Regional Partners) that are working on a wide range of initiatives including human rights , gender and sexual and sexual health.
