  • Ensure quality management of the emergency interventions, both programmatically and financially, including appropriate implementation, spending, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting, per NABAD’s systems and donor’s regulations;
  • Work closely with the team and partners incl overseeing remote management of emergency grants;
  • Work closely with the team and partners to ensure projects are implemented in a coordinated and phased manner, per NABAD standards, best practices, and policies;
  • Build and develop the project team to ensure maximum performance, by providing purpose, direction, and motivation;
  • In coordination with the BDM (business development manager) work on the development of specific response strategies, clearly defining key priorities in line with NABAD expertise;
  • Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met;
  • Lead and manages rapid needs assessments, ensuring a clear focus on the specific need. Based on the outcomes of the assessments provide recommendations to the senior management and country director on programming options and priorities;
  • Ensure appropriate program quality standards are used in the design and implementation of programs, particularly SPHERE and its companion guides (such as Child Protection Minimum Standards and Minimum Standards for Education Preparedness, Response and Recovery (INEE)) and the Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS);
  • Overall responsibility for the preparation of quality reports and updates for different NABAD Entities and external actors such as donors;
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation;
  • Support in identification and procurement of training service providers, while putting in place systems to ensure quality;
  • Oversee the use of different aid modalities in the emergency response including market-based approaches. Make informed decisions over the implementation modality based on market assessments and price monitoring;
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes;
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of business-focused and community-based soft-skills training programs;
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive monitoring and evaluation framework for the project in coordination with the MEAL Department and partner organization;
  • Assume responsibility for the delivery of quality services for partner beneficiaries throughout all project implementation cycles;
  • Develop and guide the project team on the usage of project management tools (including but not limited to reports, DIP, Log frame, ITT, SOPs, financial tracking, and programmatic process flows).
