Main Responsibilities

Organize stock and merchandise within the warehouse by properly unboxing and storing goods in their designated location

Collecting items from throughout the warehouse, preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to a schedule.

Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.

Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all goods are in excellent condition

Monitor and report any missing or lost inventory to management

Properly pack items to be shipped according to CWW standards to ensure they arrive in excellent condition

Organize and sort items on shelving, bins and overhangs according to CWW standards

Accurately maintain CWW database including all stock and warehouse items

Reliably retrieve items from within the warehouse to be processed and shipped

 

Other:

In addition to the duties and responsibilities mentioned above, the Warehouse labour may be required to :

Temporarily change location according to program requirements, to provide coverage when needed or for base support.

Participate in organised training and workshops identified by the line manager.

Participate in Concern's emergency humanitarian response as requested by line manager.

Follow all current or future policies, procedures and guidelines put in place by Concern and ensure that all team members do the same.

Take active measures to address equality issues, particularly relating to gender, in programme as well as operational activities.

Ensure the highest stands of accountability through ensuring good communication and information sharing within and outside the organisation.

Be aware of, understand and comply with all of Concern’s policies and procedures (P4, finance, logistics, HR, security management etc)

Respect confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines

Carry out any other relevant and reasonable duties as requested by the line manager.

 

Educational Requirement

Have basic record keeping skills, ability to write and read Arabic , English is a plus

Ability to conduct mathematical simple equations (addition , subtraction)

 

Experience Requirement

1-2 years of warehouse works experience

Experience in filling basic warehouse documents (stock release, receiving …)

Experience in coordinating loading and unloading trucks

Experience in INGOs warehouse items (Shelter kits, CRI kits … ) is a plus

Others

The person in this role is expected to hold heavy weights and stand for a long period of time
