Position Summary
The enumerator will work closely with the Project Coordinator. The enumerator will be essential to the successful implementation of the INJAZ programs, with a particular focus on the YAB project. This role is vital for ensuring the accurate and effective collection and validation of information. The Enumerator will be responsible for conducting interviews with participants, making business visits to verify information, and supporting the Project Coordinator with various tasks. Key responsibilities include collecting and analyzing data on business needs, legal requirements, financial needs, and budget plans. This role is critical for maintaining the quality and effectiveness of the project, which aims to empower communities and youth passionate about developing businesses within the food and agriculture sector.
The enumerator will be reporting to the Project Coordinator.
Responsibilities
- 1) Data Collection and Verification:
- Conduct interviews with participants to gather detailed information about their businesses and needs.
- Make business visits to validate the accuracy of the information provided by participants.
- Perform phone calls to follow up with participants and gather additional data as needed.
- Attend training sessions with beneficiaries to observe and evaluate their participation based on selection criteria.
- Collect data through surveys, including business needs assessments, legal requirements, financial needs, and budget plans.
- Mapping list of speakers, hosts for study tours, and other activities
2) Support and Reporting:
- Support the Project Coordinator with various tasks, similar to the responsibilities of the Project Officer
- Compile and review collected data for completeness and accuracy
- Generate reports on survey findings, business assessments, and other relevant data
- Provide feedback to the Project Manager and Project Coordinator on data collection and participant observations
3) Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate records of all interviews, business visits, and survey data
- Ensure timely submission of reports and documentation to the Project Manager
4) Others
- Attend team meetings and contribute to team efforts
- Undertake other related duties, as assigned or requested by the Project Coordinator
Position Qualifications: Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Science, Public Administration, or another relevant field
- 1-2 years of professional experience in business, data collection, analysis, or a similar role
- Sincere interest in the mission of INJAZ Lebanon and entrepreneurship
- Knowledgeable of the ecosystem (Education, NGOs, Community centers)
- Strong relationship-building and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Highly organized and motivated, ability to multitask in a timely manner, team player
- Excellent English and Arabic spoken and written skills
- Good organizational skills, ability to prioritize workload, proactive approach to meeting deadlines with limited supervision
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Be outgoing and dynamic
- Car is a must
- Familiarity with the food and agriculture sector
